The pie chart illustrates the percentage of people who committed a crime and were arrested between the start of 1990 and the end of 1994. This is followed by a bar chart showing the percentage of the most common reasons for arrest.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that the majority of arrested persons were male, and public drinking was the most frequent reason in both males and females. Surprisingly, there were two actions that happened in females more than males, including assault and public drinking.
According to the above pie chart, more than 30% of males were arrested from 1990 to 1994. In contrast, the arrests happened in females less than 10% in the same period. Additionally, the bar chart shows that even though there is a huge distinction in the percentage of both genders, the most common reason—public drinking—on the other hand, is more common in females than males by more than 5 percent. Only a small portion of both males and females gave no answer.
