The maps illustrate the changes that took place in a museum between 1998 and 2008. Overall, the museum underwent several dramatic changes, the most notable of which were the addition of new amenities and the relocation of some facilities.
In 2008, a new restaurant was built in the left corner of the map. Meanwhile, the location of the cafe remained the same, although its area was slightly reduced to make space for a new restroom. Additionally, the garden, which still occupied the center of the map in 2008, experienced a slight reduction in size. Notably, a new seating area for the cafe was established in the northwest section of the garden, along with the construction of new fountains at the bottom of the garden.
In 2008, the temporary exhibition room was relocated from the bottom left corner of the map to the west side of the garden. Its size was significantly increased, while its former space was converted into a room for bags and coats. Moreover, although the ticket entrance and exit remained unchanged, the shop was moved from the left side to the right side of these entrances. As a result, the permanent exhibition rooms on the left-hand side were demolished.
