These pictures illustrate how tea is produced and the process of how a cup of tea is made.
Overall, there are 18 steps in the diagram, from sowing seeds in China and India, to enjoying a cup of tea at home. The whole process can be segmented into two main stages: the production of tea leaves through sowing, growing, picking, drying, packing and delivery for customer consumption and the preparation of a cup of tea.
The process initiates with the plantation of seeds in India and China and allowing them to grow under sunlight. They are then hand-picked and sun-dried before being packed into boxes and delivered to supermarkets. Customers then purchase these tea boxes and take them home.
In the next phase, in order to prepare tea, water is brought to a boil and is added over a tea bag in a cup and left to steep for two minutes. Then milk and sugar is added to enhance the flavour before it is consumed.
