The charts illustrate the Britians’ time separation each week and the number of hours spent on health and fitness regime by age group and gender per week.
Overall, UK citizens tend to spend their time on socialising or working rather than the others such as sleeping, working out or for health and fitness. Additionally, men in their twenties and women from 25-39 years old tend to spend more than 12 hours per week engaging in fitness.
Regarding the first chart, it is noticeable that Britians prefer to use 61% of their time each week for the activities related to working and socialising rather than working out which just comprises 3%, nearly 20 times lower than the former. Likewise, at 32%, the amount of time spent on sleeping is 8 times as much as that for health and fitness which is only 4% of time in a week.
Concerning the second chart, males who are teenagers and aged from 18 to 24 years old tend to spend more time on fitness than the females at those age groups (at 10 hours and 13 hours per week, respectively). In contrast, women from 25 to 54 are likely to take more than the men 2 hours to enhance their health. Finally, the recording data of people above 55 shows the number of hours that males and females spent on maintaining their physique are the same.
