Overall, it is noticable that english was the most popular language that used by students during the two years period, while the less spoken languange belonged to other language.
According to the pie charts, there were more than a half percentage of natives at Bakersfield Senior Collage used English as their main language than other. It showed around 70% in 1980; then, the number declined significantly to 55% in the next 10 years. In contrast, Urdu had only about 15% at the beginning of the period but the number incread dramatically to 28% in 1990. Similarly, the percentage of students who spoke Chinese was rose slightly from only 9% in 1980, to about 11 % in 1990. Interestingly, the proportion of other language remained steady during the period,only about 6% .
