This pie chart demonstrates the proportion of ad spending by different kinds of media in India between 2012 till 2017.
let’s start with ad spending in 2012. The major funding went to Tv media; reached 43% of the total spending. The print came up into the second place reaching a percentage of 38%. Although these types consume a lot of funding, all other types consumed only 18% of the country’s interest in 2012.
On the other hand, 2017 was a remarkable year regarding the digital funding; as the ratio changed from 6% in 2012 to 15% in 2017, which represents more than double of the previous ratio. However, other media types couldn’t have much different funding between this period. The second chart shows slightly increase in TV media with only 2%, and slightly decrease in print media with only 8%. Although the lack of ad spending on radio in 2012, it decreased more marked for only 4% in 2017.
