The pie chart depicts the amount of money spent in the USA for children’s charity and how much was received in a 12-month period. The data is presented in percentages.
Overall, there is a significant difference between the revenues and expenditures spent over a year. The expenditure on program services is 95.8% of the total. In terms of revenue, donated food is the highest of all.
To begin with, community contributions were the second-largest revenue source, bringing in 10.4% of the overall income. On the other hand, program revenues and fundraising for the children’s charity are almost roughly the same at 2.6%. Similarly, a small fraction of 0.2% is spent on government grants and investment income. Other income is double the investment income. There were only two other expenditure items, fundraising and management, and general, with a slight difference accounting for 2.6% and 1.6% respectively.
However, a significant amount of expenditures are on management and general. The two pie charts show nearly the same amount of money spent on revenue sources and expenditures, totaling $53 million.
