the pie charts illustrates the proportions of individuals in an engeering institution havinf different degrees( first degree,masters, and PhD) in the fields of Arts and Science between the year 1980 and 2008. Overall, there was a larger percentage of persons with a first degree in Arts and Science in 1980,which was later overtaken by PhDs degree in 2008.
To begin with, in terms of Arts the biggest proportion of people in 1980 possessed a first degree ,accounting for 25%, followed by master’s 12% and PhD 2%. Even though ,the proportion of workers working in engeering company rose by only 1% ,it took over the figure of a first degree,as it dropped to just above 10th. However,7% of the people graduated with a PhD in Arts.
Additionally, the ratio of persons who held master’s degrees in ScienceC constituted of 29% in 1980.which was the highest among all the categories,whereas people with first degrees were around a 5th but ‘came down to 10% in 2008,PhD holders rose from 13% to 30%,attaining a highest postion in the later year.
