The two pie charts illustrate activities that employed grown-up people did in a specific country in 1958 and 2008.

Overall, the time spent on some activities such as working, traveling to work, relaxing at home, and playing sports has increased in 2008. In contrast, people spent less time going out with friends/family and sleeping in this year.

According to the provided figures, worker adults spent remarkable hours working in both years; one-third of their time in 1958 and well under half in 2008. Sleeping followed the second distinction of the charts; It was 32% in 1958, however, its rate declined and reached a quarter in 2008. Meanwhile, in 2008, employed individuals devoted more hours relaxing at home (13%) compared to 1958 (8%).

In addition, in 2008, a fractional growth can be seen in playing sports, moreover, their commute rose 5%, hence, it took longer than in 1958. On the other side, the time these individuals spent going out with friends or family decreased dramatically in 2008, only 6% of their spare time was dedicated to this activity in 2008.
