The three pie charts give information on what regions coffee is manufactured, consumed and where profit goes.
Overall, the majority of coffee is produced in South America and distributed for consumption in Europe. Additionally, shippers are the sector that receive the highest profit from selling coffee.
The proportion of coffee produced in South America accounts for 44%, followed by the coffee production of three regions, namely Africa, Asia and Central America, at almost 18%. The remaining coffee manufacture is in Oceania, with only 2% in the total. In Europe, the percentage of coffee consumed is 55%, which is five times as high as in North America, followed by 27% of coffee used in other areas. Eventually, only 7% of coffee is distributed in Japan.
With regard to the profit of coffee, most of it is for shippers, at 55%, which is almost double the profit that sellers receive. Explorers and producers have the lowest profit in the coffee market, at 10%.
