Overall, Japanese people spent the most on other goods and services, while Malaysian people paid for housing wass highest. Nevertheless, both of 2 countries spent the least on health-care.
As can be seen from the charts, housing and transport had to significant difference in proportion of spending in Japan and Malaysia. The percentage of Japan spending on housing was 21%, which was 13% lower than the rate of spending in Malaysia. In addition, Japanese people spent on transport accounting for 20% of household expenditures, whereas that of Malaysian was 10% lower.
On the contrary, the percentage of spending on remaining items was less disproportion in both 2 countries. 24% was the data of food expending in Japan, which the rate of Malaysia was 27% higher. In comparison with health-care in Japan, which occupied 6% of household expenditures, that in Malaysia constituted a marginally less proportion of 3%. Other goods and services are not only spent on the most but also had less percentage difference of Japan and Malaysia, respectively 29% and 26%
