Overall, coal was the most famous source of fuel in producing of electricity, and nuclear power was not used to produslce electricity in Australia. However, almost every type of fuel was used at equel amount in 1980, but nuclear power was the most used fuel in 2000 in France.
In Australia, 50 units of electricity was produced by coal, 20 units by hydro power, 20 units by natural gas and 10 units by oil in 1980. However, in 2000, big changes were observed there, coal using increased to 130, hydro power using increased to 36, using of oil and natural gas decreased to 2 units in producing electricity.
In France, using fuels to produce electricity was very different from Australia. Nuclear power was the most utilized source, and it was used to produce 15 units in 1980 and 126 units electricity in 2000. Oil and coal were used to produce 25 units each in 1980 and 2000, too. 25 units of electricity was produced by natural gas in 1980 and this amount decreased until 2 units in 2000.
