The pie chart examines the proportions of males and females employed in three types of places—agriculture, industry, services—in two different countries in 2007.
Overall, in both countries, the service sector contains the largest portion of the full share. Furthermore, in both genders, working in service was tremendous.
According to the statistics of country B, females and males were more involved in service than those of country A, where males comprised 65% and females comprised 49%. The proportion of males devoted to agriculture is 29%, which is approximately twice the percentage of the proportion of males involved in industry. The proportion of females working in services is six times the percentage of females engaged in industry in country A.
It is clear that, according to the data about country B, the percentage employed in service is largest for males and females: 65% for males and 88% for females. The percentage of males involved in agriculture is more than double that in industry, which is only 9 percentage points more than in country A. Meanwhile, although the proportion of females contributing to agriculture is not negligible, males are three times more involved in it.
