Overall‚ the percentage of female no schooling level was ended and the rest of levels in Sri Lanka remarkably progressed during three decades.
Two biggest levels in education in 1965 were no schooling and 6-year‚ with 35% and 44%‚ respectively. However‚ whilst no schooling was finished completely‚ the percentage of 6-year education level decreased notably to 20% in 1995.
The remaining three levels had different proportions in 1965 each. Despite graduate and 12-year were 0% and 18% in 1965‚ they increased considerably to 20% and 25%‚ respectively. The proportion of graduate went the smallest share in 1965 to the first largest in 1995‚ achieving a percentage of 35%.
