Overall, French was the most chosen language, which was more than a quarter, while the least number of students liked the Russian communication style in both years.
First of all, in 2009, 43% of students chose French. However, it decreased by 9% in 2014. The second most favorite language was Italian, which stood at 20%. Moreover, the percentage of students who selected Spanish was 16% in 2009. In 2014, it increased by 4% and remained in the second-highest position, but the percentage of the Spanish speakers rose significantly to 24%, equaling Italian. Furthermore, 12% of students selected German, whereas only 9% chose the Russian tongue. Meanwhile, in 2014, the percentage of German and Russian speakers dropped by 2% and 1%, respectively. In addition, in both years, Russian was selected by the fewest students.
