The pie charts depict the information about the worldʼs forest and timber according to five countries.
Overall, in both charts Africa and North America were indicated as the leading reason, while Africa served as a significant in world’s forest. It is particularly noteworthy that Africa was the least common reason for timber in each region.
Regarding world forest, Africa constituted the foremost reason, accounting for 27%. North America was the second most prevalent factor, cited by 25%, while the percentage in Europe is much lower, at 18%. In Asia and South America showed nearly identical proportions, registering 14% and 16% respectively.
Concerning timber in each region, the percentage of North America also predominated, accounting for 30%. Additionaly in South America was three times higher (23%) than Europe, at 20%. These levels differ slightly in Asia, at 18%. Finally Africa constituted the least cited reason for timber in each region, at just 9%.
