The two maps illustrate how changes occurred in Grange Park from 1920 until now.
Overall, the park underwent huge transmission and modernization with an increasing recreational variety of facilities over the period. In addition, entrances and one of the rose gardens remained unchanged.
On the one hand, there is a fountain in the middle of the area, which was replaced by a rose garden with surrounding seats. On the left hand of the fountain, there was a stage for musicians located between two rose gardens with seats; it has been converted into an amphitheater for concerts nowadays with one rose garden.
On the other hand, there is a rose garden and pond for water plants on the right up the north entrance that has been replaced by a café and children’s play area, respectively. On the south side, a water feature with an entrance underground of car parking has been constructed in the previous location of the class house, and a rose garden with two seats on the left side of the entrance has been demolished.
