The two given maps demonstrate the changes of Porth Harbour in 2000 and today.
In general, some of the places has been modified to another while most of the areas are fixed. The public beach, fishing boats and castle has been refurbished to private beach for the hotel, marine and hotel, respectively.
In 2000s, main road had been partitioned to two easter roads, whilst there are three today’s. The south eastern road had only one way for lifeboat and no path for castle, however two paths are divided for lifeboat and hotel in 2025. Furthermore, the cafes and shops, and showers and toilets are built just near the lifeboat and carpark where there used to be an empty space during 2000s. Similarly, the dock was covered in one space just above the passenger and on the north western side of public beach, whereas the location are shifted now.
Moreover, the marine has been modified to fishing boats and vice versa. In contrast, passemger ferries, public beach, and lifeboat has not changed from it’s position. The public beach near castle has converted to private beach.
