Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to make an complaint of waste collection system used in the area of Terry Fox Drive. From fortnight, the garbage collectors are not collecting the waste kept on the side of the curb by the residents on the scheduled days.

Because of this, most of the time, garbage is not being collected and is getting piled up in the bins. Moreover, the people living in the locality are now facing the problem of increasing amount of mosquitoes and bad smell spreading in the area. These problems can give rise to diseases like malaria and dengue. Also, foul smell can reduce the amount of fresh air in the locality.

I would like to suggest that as an immediate action you should hire someone to take away already piled up garbage. In addition, you should spray a disinfectent in the area to get rid of mosquitoes. Futhermore, to prevent this situation in the future, a proper timetable of garbage collection routine should be provided to the residents.
