The table below provide the information about the US’s internet searches between 2004 and 2010. Moreover, the graph illustrates the US’s percentages used of search in different search engines: Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, AOL, and Ask Jeeves.
Analytically, the total number of US searchers in 2010 was larger than 2004. Percentage of employing Google had a significant rise from November 2004 to September 2010. However, other threes channel percentages were decreased throughout the year.
The graph can divided into two main categories: increased and decreased. For upwards trend, in 2004, Google was the most popular engines that people used, around 35%. After that, the percentage was increased approximately 20% to 55% in July 2007. Then, it was continued to grow until 2010, roughly 65%.
The another trend was downward which was other four search engines. Yahoo , Ask Jeeves, and AOL percentages were approximately 32%, 10%, and 7% respectively in 2004.
