The table and pie charts compared the number of survey students in Australian universities in 2001 and 2010.
The number of research participants increased over 9 years, except for the percentage of local students. Non-local female explorers saw a significant change in the pie chart and changed their latest position.
According to the table, the number of international survey students increased almost 3 times, amounting to an additional 9401 individuals over 9 years in this field. Similarly, local research students also grew from 33,657 to 39,488. In contrast, the number of explorer students in Australian universities expanded by nearly 15000 people.
Looking at the figures for local and non-local students in the pie charts, we can see that the local male students maintained their leading position in given years, however, they saw a 6% decline. The portion of international students is bigger than in 2010, global female explorers accounted for an 11% increase.
