I’ll comepare the chart of smokers in Britain from 1970’s to early 2000’s and compare the numbers as given in the chart above.
We see the data of almost a decade worh of information. By these numbers we can tell that there has always been peaople who used nicotine. Also we see that male population used tabaco products more compared to female. Both groups of smoker peaked in 1990’s with a steady increase starting form 1970’s but it started to gradualy decrease afterwards leading to 2000.
Based on percentage of smoker males led in numbers for most of the years but in 1990’s famales took the lead and reached a 37% of british smokers and beating the other group by 1% with the treand continuing to 1995.
We can tell that with time moving on smoking in both british male and female populations gradualy starts to decline.
