In detail, residents of all 8 countries like reading, especially, the Japanese (62%). People, who read much less than people in Japan, are the Americans, the Australians and the Canadians- they make up 15 %. The Chinese are devoted to hobbies most of all, gaining 50%, which is higher by 30% than the French. 30% of Australia’s population like doing sports activities more than others. However, the difference with other countries is not so big as Korea, the least one interested in sport, has 21% of amateurs.
Watching TV has a striking contrast though. The highest figure is observed in Australia (65%) and the lowest- in China (15%). Actually, there are no so many people, who spend their time on the beach. Only 30% of the Australians and 30% of the Americans spend time there. In general, sleep is not a popular pastime at all. The highest percentage of people, who sleep in their free time, is in Australia. The lowest figures are in Canada and the USA (2%).
