The table demonstrates the top five companies among the small scale that came up by a British national newspaper’s survey of staff to find out which of thus are the best to work for.
Overall, it can be seen from the table that fifth company have the highest figures when it comes to the staff numbers as well as the age bracket, with mostly under 35-year-olders. Albeit, having lesser staff members compared to fifth company, third company have more male employees in ratio, with the highest percentages on staff in high income bracket.
To begin with, there are two dominant companies in the table with them: third company take the dominance in male ratio and staff in high income bracket and fifth company in staff numbers, under 35 years old employees’ age group, and staff turnover. In detail, with 190 staff membres, with male and female genders’ ratio being 51 to 49 respectively, also, 93% of them are under 35 years old, it has the highest percentage on staff turnover (33%), but the least percentage on staff in high income bracket. As for third company it has only 72 staff members, with them males accounting 74% of that company and females 26% . Moreover, 82% of the workers are aged under 35, with no elders who aged over 55. When it comes to staff turnover it is only 8% but for staff in high income bracket it is nearly 9 times of that, with 74 %.
As for other companies, which have fewer employees, they do not have any dominant fields in the survey, except for fourth company, which has highest ratio on female workers. Furthermore, staff numbers accounting 56 for the first company, 79 for the second company and 76 for the fourth company, with the ratio being 30:70, 47:53 and 13:87 respectively. In addition, first and second company have not elders but 77% of them are youngers (under 35 years old) in the first company and 59% in the second one. While having 5% and 18% staff turnover in the first and third companies, they amounting 34% and 48%.
