The shown table presents data on percentage of women and men participation among a variety of sports from 2005 till 2009. The dramatic difference can be observed in cycling, comparing to two other sports’ sections.
The women category in swimming and diving was leading during 4 years comparing to men; despite the fact that in 2006/07 there was a drop by more than the one percent, the female group still were higher than male’s percantage by at least 3 pecent more.
Secondly, the number of male participants in cycling was approximately twice more than female from 2005 to 2009. While men had an increase in numbers each year, the female group size were decreasing, which resulted in almost two percent drop.
Lastly, the jogging, cross-country, and road-running were the least popular sports among given groups, as they had the lowest number of participants. The amount of members were not staible, due to the fact they were fluctuating from 2005 and 2009; however, in the 2006/07 both gender groups reached their peak in quantity of people. Additionally, in 2008/09 women had the same percentile as they did 2 years before.
