Overall, TV advertising took the largest share of spending for all companies, while cinema advertising was the least popular. Cetirizine and Vauxhall spent the most on TV, whereas Rover and Renault spent less.
In detail, Renault spent 45 million dollars on press advertising, which was the highest figure in this category. Rover followed with 38 million, while Vauxhall and Cetirizine spent much less. Spending on cinema advertising was very low, with Rover and Cetirizine spending nothing at all.
For radio advertising, all four companies spent the same amount, at 15 million dollars each. In terms of TV advertising, Cetirizine was the biggest spender at 70 million dollars, followed by Vauxhall with 65 million. Renault and Rover spent 59 and 45 million respectively.
