The table illustrates the position that female are included in parliament and business sector in five countries-namely canada,norway,tobago and Ireland in 2005.
Overall,norway records the highest number of women engaged into politics and in management as well.While uruguay showed the lowest percentage of female participation in parliament and in management.
As in 2005,norway had the largest number of women participating in parliament,along with in private institutes with the proportion of 36 %and 52% respectively.Following the trend Canadian women had slightly lower rates ,compared to norway in both fields,28%and 37% .Tobago and trinidad had a similar percentage as Canada,however the women in this country were more interested in business rather than politics as the data is 19% and 40% .
In uruguay, the women were less involved in politics with solely 8 %,which is the lowest in the chart.but in this country women holding the position in business field was greater in number at 37% .As in italy, the women in parliament had a percentage of 10% which is just 2 percent higher than in uruguay.surprisingly,italy surpassed any other nation in terms of women taking part in management areas.
