The chart compares the minimum number of public holidays that companies need to give their full-time workers in six different countries in 2016.

It is clear that there were various total paid holidays in six countries and the total paid holidays in Finland were at the top of six different countries in this period. Meanwhile, Japan’s total paid holidays were the lowest of the six countries.

As we can see, in 2016, Finland and Sweden were the two countries that had the highest paid vacation days which was 25 days, however, the workers in China just had 5 paid vacation days, which was the lowest of the six countries. Australia had a relatively high number of paid vacation days, with 20 days, which was twice of Japan and Sweden.

On paid public holidays they all had similar days, which were 10(Australia and America) and 11(China and Finland) except for Sweden and Japan just didn’t have any paid public holidays.

It had the highest total paid holidays in Finland, at 36 days, however in Japan they had the lowest days at 10 days. The total paid holidays in Australia approached Finland, at 30 days. In Sweden, China, and the USA, their total public holidays respectively are 25, 20, and 16 days.
