The table illustrates the comparison of CO2 emission between 2005 and 2006 among five different countries (China, the US, Russia, India and Japan), counted by million tons. Also, it demonstrates the average amount released by every person, counted by kilograms.
It is clear that average production of CO2 in US is the most, and the lowest is India. In 2005, CO2 released in US was the greatest, and Japan was the least. However, The CO2 emitted in China grew sharply and became the highest in 2006.
The CO2 released in China was 5600 million tons in 2005, then it rose to 6000 million tons in 2006, growing 11% during the year. The other country also increased in CO2 production is India, which increased by 8% from 2005 to 2006.
The CO2 emission in US was 5900, which was greater than other four countries in 2005. However, it declined to 5000 million tons and became lower than China. Russia and Japan remained same production as 2005.
