Overall, the amount of milk produced in the Netherlands, Tanzania, and Guatemala increased, while Australia witnessed a decline over the period. Notably, the quantity of milk produced in the Netherlands always ranked at top in four countries.
Regarding Netherlands and Australia, the former produced 11.262.000 litres in 1990, after which it saw a slight decrease to 11.155.000 litres in 2000, before reaching a peak of 11.466.000 at the end of the period. In contrast, the latter showed an opposite trend with the starting point at 11.246.000 litres and then it witnessed a gradual decline to 11.105.000 litres in 2000 and ultimately decreased to 9.165.000 in 2010.
Moving on to remaining regions, Tanzania and Guatemala experienced a growth in the amount of milk produced. In 1990, Tanzania produced 87.000 litres of milk, after ten years, its figure saw a significant increase to 142.000 and 155.000 litres. The figure for Guatemala showed a gradual rise, from 26.000 litres in 1990 to 55.000 litres in 2000 and finally reaching 84.000 litres. Despite these increases, their ranking still remained unchanged over the period.
