The table compares the percentages of women as workforce and managers in five different countries. Overall, in all of the countries, except Egypt, women had a significant contribution to the workforce, while only in Australia and the United States this was true for them as managers. It is also evident that in all countries, except Australia and the US, the difference between the percentages was notable.
The figure for women working in the workforce was similar in four countries except Egypt, hovering at around 45%. Specifically, Australia and Sri Lanka had almost identical shares, with respective figures of 42% and 41%, while Japan with 48% and the US with 46% had close to the same proportions. Conversely, Egypt had the least share out of all of the countries with only 20%.
When it comes to women working as managers, the figures varied significantly between nations. While Australia and the US had exactly the same percentages (43%), the remaining countries had proportions much lower than Australia and the United States of America: Japan had 17%, Egypt had 12%, and Sri Lanka had 9% of women working as managers.
