The given table illustrates the usage of water for various purposes across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, and Canada.
Overall, the water consumption for agriculture in Egypt was the highest. Additionally, agriculture was the dominant use in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, whereas industrial purpose had higher proportion in Canada and New Zealand.
The use of water for domestic purpose in Egypt and Saudi Arabia were nearly equal, at 8% and 6% respectively. According to the data table, Saudi Arabia accounted for 30 percentage of water consumption for industry, which was three times as high as this figure for Egypt. Meanwhile, with 82%, the usage of water in Egyptian agriculture was dramatically superior to the figure of Saudi Arabia, with 64%.
Regarding Canada, 20% was the percentage of domestic water usage in this country, while this figure in New Zealand
only occupied 10%. In industrial aspect, Canada had highest proportion of the usage of water with 70%, followed by New Zealand with 46%. However, the figure for Canadian agriculture, which was 10%, was significantly lower than this data of New Zealand by 34%.
