The table demonstrates the proportion of visitors from United Kingdom to Spain by 5 different groups of age in 1985 and 2015.
From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the figure for 25 to 35 years olds individuals was the highest in both years. However, people who was 0 to 15 years old and 36 to 45 years old were not keen on travelling to Spain in 2015, neither some young people from 16 to 24 years old in previous 30 years.
Looking at the table, a half of visitors who came to Spain from UK in 1985 was in 25-35 age group. In the same year, nearly a quarter of UK’s individuals from 36 to 45 years old came to Spain for visit. Nevertheless, only 4% of young generators came to Spain at that time.
Regarding to 2015, UK’s people who in group of 25-35 years old still have a large amount of visitors with 32%. In addition, a quarter of UK’s visitors was people who 55 or above. In contrast, only 12% of visitors in 2 different age groups namely : 0 to 15 and 36 to 45.
