The table gives information about how much the government spent on education and training and how many people that were 18-24 year olds participated in five countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, and Slovenia) in 2012. The figures are expressed as percentages.
Overall, it is clear that the expenditure rate was the lowest in Poland among five countries, whereas the reverse was true for Slovenia. However, Poland had the highest figure in the participation rate while there was the smallest rate in Romania.
Turning to the details, in Poland, expenses were 5% although participation rate was 44%. Substantially, in Czech Republic, the indicator of expenditure was 9%, nearly three times lower than that of involvement. When it comes to Romania, taking part in trainings was 23% while expenses were 10%.
As for Hungary and Slovenia, the former was 13% in the expenditure although the percentage of involvement was 34%. Interestingly, in Slovenia, these indicators were 25% and 40% where relevant.
