The table demonstrates the financial assistance allocated to developing countries by the United States, European nations, and various other countries during the period from 2006 to 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the United States is the country that spends the most money to support developing countries. In addition, European nations, along with other countries, contribute similar sums of money annually to support developing countries.
In 2006, the United States spent over 60% of the total aid that developing nations received while European countries and other countries only spent approximately 3 million USD. In the following two years, all countries spent additional budgets to support. In 2008, the United States still topped the list with 17 million USD out of a total of 24.4 million USD in support for developing countries.
In 2009, donations from all countries decreased slightly and reached only 23.5 million USD but increased again in the last year surveyed (2010). The total amount of contributions reached 28.1 million USD, specifically 20.3 million USD came from the United States, 4.1 million USD came from European countries and the remaining amount came from other nations.
