Focusing on countries that experienced huge growth first, the United states stood at 107 million tonnes of trash created in 1988 which climbed to 209 million tonnes in 2000 after 150 million tonnes in 1992. A country that started the chart 15 million tonnes of debris generated was Japan and rose to 25 million tonnes between 1992 and 2000. Poland stood at 10 million and underwent an upward trend to 18 million tonnes after decreasing to 2.89 million tonnes in 1992. The final country(Canada) began the chart with 20 million tonnes and this rate went up to 29 million tonnes after falling by 1 million tonnes.
As for countries that witnessed small increase, Scotland recorded 3 millions tonnes and reached 5 million tonnes at the end of the period. In contrast, a country that accounted for 10 million tonnes and peaked to 16 then experienced a downward trend was Ireland.
