The table compares undergraduates’ and postgraduates’ contentment about a UK university’s services, based on a survey conducted in 2004.
Overall, it is evident that undergraduate students show more interest in cafeteria services, while postgraduates are more happy with the university’s social facilities.
In more detail, about 97 percent of undergraduate students are satisfied with spending time in the cafeteria, and only 3 percent show their displeasure about this service. In contrast, 16 percent of postgraduate members are completely dissatisfied with the cafeteria and their preferred social facilities, which is obvious with their approximately 95 percent joy in the survey about this facility. It is worth noting that a great number of 30 percent of undergraduate students were discontent about social services.
On the other hand, regarding study convenience in bedrooms, both groups showed nearly similar results for their excitement, which is about 85 and 84 percent for postgraduate students and undergraduate students respectively. Furthermore, 15 percent and 26 percent of displeasure about this service for graduate students and undergraduate students respectively were recorded.
