The tables illustrate the revenue from cocoa beans and coffee in five European nations in two years: 2000 and 2005.
Overall, it can be observed from the chart that the sales of cocoa and coffee in the United Kingdom dominated those in other countries. Notably, the income of cocoa beans and coffee tended to be more significant over a period of 5 years.
Regarding the sales of cocoa beans, the revenue in the United Kingdom was at the highest rate with 13.6 euros in the year 2000. This statistic was followed by France whose figure was roughly 3-times lower. Meanwhile the sales in the remaining countries were relatively low. Specifically, while those of Germany and Netherlands were relatively the same, standing at 2.6 and 2.4 euros, respectively, the figure for Switzerland was only 0.9 euro. Over the 5-year period, whereas the statistic for France increased to 9.3 euros, the others doubled.
As for the revenue from coffee, the figure for the United Kingdom was still recorded as the highest with 68.3 euros, followed by France with approximately half the number. In terms of Germany, its figure stood at 24.5 euros whilst the incomes from Switzerland and Netherlands was 7.5 and 15.2 euros, in order. Over 5 years, the sales in all countries surged roughly twofold.
