The two maps illustrate the development of a town called Dalton over a 30-year span, starting from 1815 to 2015.
Looking from an overall perspective, Dalton was a small village in a town, which recently was transformed urban area. The large changes of the town was a dramatic increase of housing, and infrastructure had been upgraded, the replacement of green spaces and farm land with new facilities.
In the western side, the Dalton foresthad been converted into residential area with houses and roads, and hospital had been built, which was located in the opposite houses; Additionally, industries zone had been added in the southwest corner, which was in close proximity to the road.
In the eastern side, there was numerous housing, which was constructed near the river and the road had been built to service for residents moving convenient. Nearby, farm land was destroyed to construct school for students, nearly school, there was a range of citizens area. The bridgeway also was upgraded. Moreover, hall farm was cleared to make way for a new hotel. One of the most significant additions was a new aiport, which was constructed in the south of the river Dal.
