The picture illustrates the changes in a town called Dalton between 1815 to 2015. It is clear that the are has undergone transformation with the elimination of a Dalton forest, Hall farm and bridleway that made way for the introduction of Industrial zone, Airport, School and Hotel. Additionally, certain key features such as the Dalton hall, River Dal have stayed largely untouched with minor changes.
In 1815, the area used to have limited public facilities. Upon entering the area, visitors were faced with the Bridleway and Ford, with the River Dal situated at the rear. One the right hand side there was row of Hall Farm and Dalton Hall: however the Dalton forest and some trees were arranged in the opposite direction.
Fast forward to 2015, The Dalton area presents a different layout. To serve the disabled, the airport for passengers has been installed right next to the River Dal. The Industrial Zone, School, Hotel and Hospital have been erected at the expense of removing old Ford, Dalton forest and Hall farm. Finally, Dalton hall has been brought closer to the exit point.
