The two maps illustrate the outskirts of the town of Fosbury in 1980 and 2015. In general, the 35-year period showed changes in residential, recreational, and commercial facilities.
There were striking additions on the western side including houses and sports areas. The new roundabout was built in 2015 in the center of the city. In addition, new terraced houses replaced the park, which relocated to near from roundabout and decreased in size. Moreover, the sporting facilities were developed, with a new sports center where a car park in it taking the place of tennis courts.
Another notable change was industrialized and modernized on the eastern side. The replacement of large fields with huge warehouses was the most further change. As time went by, the hotel remained similar, while terraced houses were flattened and transformed to supermarkets with car parks. However, a grocery shop and a block of flats were torn down.
