The maps illustrate how Riverside University has been redeveloped from 2005 to 2025.
Overall, the campus has been modernised and expanded, with new circulation, academic facilities and student housing replacing open space.
On the northern edge, the river remains a fixed boundary, but a footbridge and a riverside walk have been introduced by 2025. In the central zone, the original Main Building has been reconfigured into a larger Learning Hub, while the Library has been relocated from the north-west corner; its former site is now Science Labs. The east-west main road still runs across the campus; however, a bus loop and security gate have been added at the western approach.
Major land-use change is most obvious in the south: the Playing Fields shown in 2005 have been replaced by a three-block Student Village, and a Sports Centre has been constructed just north of it. Parking has been moved and enlarged, with a new multi-storey facility occupying the south-east.
In sum, Riverside has shifted from a compact, car-park-oriented layout to a more pedestrian-friendly, academic-residential campus with upgraded infrastructure.
