The two pie charts show e-commerce sales for retail sectors in Canada in 2005 and 2010.
From an overall view, Electronics and Appliance made up the largest part of the charts in both two periods. Meanwhile, Home Furnishings had the biggest fall, from 25 per cent in 2005 to only 15 per cent in 2010.
In 2005, Electronics and Appliances had the highest percentage in the chart, while Home Furnishings and Food and Beverage shared the second and the third in sales, representing 25 per cent in Home Furnishings and 22 per cent in Food and Beverage. Video Games, however, stayed at the bottom with only 18 per cent.
In 2010, every sector had a change in sales, although sales have fallen since 2005, Electronics and Appliance stood still at the top with 30 per cent of sales, Home Furnishings also witnessed a huge plummet from 25 per cent to 15 per cent at the end of the period. However, Food and Beverage climbed sharply to 32 per cent in 2010, which increased by 10 per cent, while Video Games increased slightly by 5 per cent, up to 23 per cent in the last year of the chart.
