In general, the portion of males consumed ideally is higher than that of females in every age group except 75 years old. In addition, individuals from 55-64 years old top the list in both genders, while the opposite was true for that of 19-24 individuals.
Regarding people ranging from 19-54 years old, the percentage of people who followed the WHO recommendation increased similar to the age groups. The figure for young adults in both genders was quite similar. In addition, the figure for males whose ages ranged from 45-54 stood at 27%, followed by that of 25-34 and 35-44. The ratio of females’ ideal consumption was comparable in 2 age groups 35-44 and 45-54 at nearly 25% and higher than that of 25-34 years old individuals at around 4%.
With regard to other age groups, the figure for people who are 55-64 years old dominated the chart with approximately 35%, showing the contradictory pattern with their age. Whereas, the slightly different could be seen in that of 65-74, and lastly, shared the same figure in 75 years old.
