The bar chart provides information about the proportion of fuel from renewable energy used in the transport sector in different countries for two distinct years: 2009 and 2010. Overall, while Slovakia and Austria decreased, Poland, Spain, and Greece increased in the proportion of fuel from renewable energy in transportation. Notably, the proportion of renewable energy use in the transport sector remained the same, and the average of the countries increased.
In 2009, Slovakia had the highest proportion of fuel from renewable energy, which was more than 9%. However, in 2010 figures decreased by apporximately 2%, reaching nearly 8%. Similar trends followed by Austria, which was roughly 6.5% in 2009, and declined to over 5% in 2010.
However, in 2009, Poland, Spain, and Greece had 5%, 3,5%, and over 1%, respectively, which grew by almost 1% for each. Remarkably, the percentage of fuel from renewable energy in the transport sector in France remained the same over the period at 6%.
