Overall, the number of women readings books in the library skyrocketed very high, while men’s number fluctuated. It gradually dropped and could not grow higher much from its start.
In detail, the number of women reading books was so much lower compared to men in 2011. It start approximately around 3000 books and keep rising every year. The number reached its peak in 2014, which means more than 8000 books were read by Women that year.
In contrast, the number of men declined from its start at around above 5000 books read to its lowest point at below 4000 in 2013. After that, it slowly recovered to around above its starting point at 2014, while women’s number rose almost 3 times from its start.
