The given line graph represents the data of consumption of spread through the years. For low fat and reduced spreads the numbers are shown only from 1996, while for two others, information is provided since 1981. All three kinds of spreads, at the end , in 2007 relatively on the same level of consumption.
At the begging, butter spread showed the highest results, which is 140 grams in 1981, reaching 160 grams in 1986, that was the best result made in the given period of time. At the meantime, Margarine consumption was fluctuating around 80 and 100 grams between 1981 and 2001. As low fat line occured a few year late, which was mentioned above, its popularity rose qwickly, reaching 80 grams in 2001.
For all three spreads, the data dramatically dropped between 2001 and 2007. Margarine consumprion fell to 40 grams, while butter around 50 grams. The low fat and reduced spreads holded a better position at relatively 70 grams.
