The line graph shows the amount of three types of spreads (margarine, butter, low fat and reduced spreads) which were consumed from 1981 t0 2007. Units are measured in grams.
Overall, consumption of butter and margarine are decreased over the period of given, while low fat and reduced spreads, it rises. At the start of the period butter is most popular spread. Margarine was the most widely consumed in the middle of the period but, by the end, of low fat &reduced spreads was most popular.
With regard the amount of butter used, it starts at around 140 grams and then peaked to 160 grams in 1986 before falling dramatically to about 50 grams of the last year. Likewise, approximately 90 grams was eaten in the first year, after which the figure fluctuated slightly from 40 grams in 2007.
On the other hand, the spread low fat & reduced spread was began in 1996 from 10 grams. The figure which used in first year 80 grams and the final year the low fat & reduced was stop in 70 grams in 2007.
