The two maps show an island both before and after tourist facilities were constructed. Overall, the development took place in all areas of the island, with the addition of a number of new facilities, while old ones were retained and improved. Notably, despite this construction, greenery has remained almost unchanged.
Prior to development, the island was almost completely empty, without any tourist-oriented facilities. The only available ones were limited, with two groups of trees on the western and eastern parts of the island. There was also nothing except a beach in the far-west corner, and the place was uninhabited.
Following the development, however, the island has undergone conisderable changes. The biggest change occurred in accommodation, as there were two groups of hut-style houses on either side of the island. The central buildings are a reception, and a restaurant just north of this. Additionally, the beach in far-west corner has also seen a significant change, and it can now offer swimming. All of these places were connected by a footpath and vehicle track. Although the latter was limited to central builidings, the former was more extensive and covered larger areas of the island. Finally, reaching the island has been made more accessible with the introduction of a pier.
