Overall what stands out in the graph is that, the consumption of strawberry and lemon jams have significantly decreased over the years while the consumption of cherry jam shows an upward trend.
Looking into details, people in the Asian country have only consumed strawberry and lemon jam in 1991, while strawberry jam was the most preferred jam by then. The figure shows a slight increase in the consumption of strawberry jam between 1991 to 1996, peaking at 160 tons. After that, from 1996 to 2014, the amount of strawberry jam consumed by people, have plummeted remarkably reaching around 50 tons in the year 2014. Furthermore, around 90 tons of lemon jam was used by the country in 1991 following a gradual fall in the year 1996. Afterwards, a slight increase in the consumption was recorded in 2001 reaching to 100 tons. After that, the figure showed a steady flow between the year 2001 to 2006, following a downward trend till the year 2014.
Moreover, the consumption of cherry jam has been started in the year 2006. It rocketed reaching to a peak of 90 tons within 5 years from 2006 to 2011. Then, gradual decrease in the consumption of cherry jam was observed until 2014.
In conclusion, cherry jam that was invented recently marked the highest consumption in the year of 2014, while the strawberry and lemon jam which was consumed over nearly a quarter of a decade reached less preferred jam with the time.
